Support eases pet's passing

Molly, my companion for 15 years, a 13-pound wired-haired terrier, followed me everywhere, always wanting to be near me, finally lost her quality of life and needed to be put to rest.

This was one of the hardest tasks for me, but with the help of Dr. Birzele from Animal Care Clinic North talking to me while she was put to sleep so peacefully and reassuring me -- it was the right time. Beryl Billings of Faithful Friends came so quickly to take care of her cremation and the after-care services.

I want to say thank you to them. Everyone made the task easier.

Dear Beryl and the dedicated staff at Faithful Friends,

Words can not express how much I appreciate your kind words and actions when my best friend, Zeus, was taken suddenly last month. You were there to ease the process of losing my pet. You helped turn a horrific situation into a calm and natural process of life.

As a full time student and employee, I had strived for years to be able to get my first pug. I had read numerous books and began to understand the diverse and comical personality of the breed. Finally, I was in the position to obtain my goal… Zeus, my little baby Fawn Pug.

A year and a half wasn’t enough time for us, but thanks to the options and services Faithful Friends provided, I have a piece of him with me always. The individual cremation you recommended was an excellent option to preserve his memory and legacy, it was very special. The urn you helped us choose was classy and personal. In addition to everything, you met us at the facility with a yellow rose in hand far after you closed to help us begin the grieving process. I really can’t thank you enough.

I have personally recommended your services to others and will continue to do so as you have been so kind to me and Zeus. Thank you again.
