Faithful Friends Holds Grand Opening Day Event to Educate the Community about Options for Saying Goodbye to Your Faithful Friend and Companion.

(Elkhart, Indiana) - 10/12/2004

FAITHFUL FRIENDS – Grand Opening will be held October 20, 2004 at their new location at 1606 Navajo Street in Elkhart. This event is open to the public and all area pet service providers including veterinarians, pet groomers, pet retailers and funeral homes, collaborating to give families options for saying goodbye to their beloved pets.

This Grand opening will provide a unique opportunity for pet lovers and service providers to learn more about the diverse services offered by Faithful Friends for pet cremation and private services. The event will feature a variety of products and services that offer dignified and respectful ways for pet owners to cherish their family pets without feeling awkward about expressing their affection at the time of death.

The Grand Opening will begin at 11:00 am for community members to stop by and learn more about Faithful Friends products and services such as caskets, urns, markers, keepsakes, cremation services and various memorial and grief support services. A photo gallery of area pets and their owners will be on display by Impressions Photography. From 5:00 to 8:00 pm a reception will begin, including snack and drinks to welcome community members after working hours. Don’t miss this significant community contribution for options in celebrating the lives and passing of loved pets in our area.

Faithful Friends is a new business provided by Billings Funeral Home. When pet owners feel no one is there at the difficult time of their pets’ death, Faithful Friends will take the responsibility of handling the After Care of beloved pets in the same way they would take care of their own. What are Pet After Care Services? They are services provided to aid pet owners during the final stages of their pets’ lives.
